While your son is at camp, you will be able to send e-mails to your son as well as view photos that are posted regularly throughout the summer, so that you can get a feel for what is happening up at camp.
How the system works
Setting Up An Account: For this summer, e-mail and photo access will operate using a desktop version of CampBrain. If your son was registered last year, your account already exists. Scroll to the bottom of any page on our website and click on Summer Emails and Photos. You will use the same user name and password as last summer. If you have forgotten either your username or password, there is a link to click to re-set your account. If your son was not registered last year, you will receive an email with instructions on how to initialize your account and begin to send emails and view the photo gallery.
Logging In: You will be have to click on the link Summer Emails and Photos on our website and then enter your username and password. If you forget your password, you can always click on the ‘Forgot your username or password?’ link.
Sending Emails: You will receive a set number of email credits for the season. You can use them while your child is at camp. You can even choose to share your email credits with family and friends. You can always see how many email credits you have remaining so you don’t have to worry about running out of credits unexpectedly.
Viewing Photos: You can browse through the photos and even download as many as you would like for free! If would you like, you can order prints and merchandise at reasonable costs, directly from the website. Please note that any purchases will appear on your credit card statements as SmugMug.
We will do our best to post as many photos as we can, as often as we can. We think it is important for you to remember that while photos can be a great insight into what is generally happening at camp, a single snapshot should not be used as an assessment tool as to how your son is doing at camp.
Inviting Others: You can invite family and friends to send emails to your son and to view the photos we post. Invitees don’t need to set up accounts. Instead, they will receive an email with a link they can click on to get into the system. Clicking on that link is like logging into an account, so they can keep that email in their inbox to “log in” again in the future.
