As part of the registration process, we suggest that parents include a $75 tuck shop deposit for any purchases which their son might make at the tuck shop during his stay at camp. The balance of the deposit is refunded at the end of your son’s stay.
The Camp Nominingue tuck shop is open every day – usually at Free Swim, and is open on request prior to the departure of canoe trips. The major purpose of the shop is to enable campers to purchase essential items that they may have forgotten, lost, or finished, for example:
- Tooth brush
- Tooth Paste
- Shampoo
- Soap
- Sunscreen
The shop also stocks some key items that campers need on canoe trips, such as:
- Cap
- Nalgene Water Bottle
To avoid these purchases, ensure that you send a hat and water bottle to camp with your son.
