A Typical Day at Nominingue
7:50 AM | “Wake Up” & Optional Dip |
8:00 AM | “Get Up” & get ready for breakfast |
8:30 AM | Breakfast (always 2 courses) |
9:15 AM | Tent and Section Clean Up |
9:30 AM | First Instruction period |
10:30 AM | Second instruction Period |
11:30 AM | Free Swim: Both swim areas, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, rowing, fishing & equipment room all are all open. Tennis courts and basketball courts are available for use. Staff are present in the tent line in order to initiate other fun and games. |
1:00 PM | Lunch: Always a hot, appetizing meal with a tasty dessert. |
2:00 PM | Quiet Hour: A chance to write letters and just play quietly and relax in the tent line. |
3:00 PM | Afternoon Program: Always different and always exciting. It might be a Beach party for one age group; riflery for another; a game of watermelon football in the lake for another. We have a full program staff coordinating these events. |
4:30 PM | Afternoon Free Swim: besides the morning activities that you might continue at this time, you might be packing for a canoe trip, planning a canoe trip menu or doing a “Lake Swim”. |
6:00 PM | Supper: More great food! Pizza anyone? How about a chocolate éclair? |
7:00 PM | Evening Program: Our programming staff are at it again! It might be a an all-Camp game of “Pony Express” or a “Trip down Spook River” at dusk. The list of activities is endless… |
8:00 PM | Light and weather permitting: Evening Dip |
8:15 PM | Campfires, sing-a-longs and stories; an evening Nature walk or a game of “SPOT” for the older boys. |
9:00 PM | Lower Camp lights out |
9:30 PM | Middle Camp lights out |
10:00 PM | Upper Camp lights out |
